This is very easy to understand when you are standing on the deck of a local fishing boat and the sun shines over the high, spectacular, and dramatic peaks that rise directly up from the deep blue sea, or perhaps, when you finally reach the mountain top and look around and down towards other green summits, tiny fishing villages and white sandy beaches.

You can choose between staying in modern, well-equipped hotels with the latest conference facilities, or in a traditional fisherman’s cottage (rorbu), equipped with modern bathrooms with heated floors, and of course great beds for your comfort.
