Narvik is a small compact town surrounded by mountains and fjords in all directions as well as having unique experiences right on the conference rooms doorstep.
You will find hotels with great conference and meeting facilities which welcome both you and your group with the special northern Norwegian hospitality and service that we are known for.
Directly from your hotel it will be possible to walk directly into the surrounding nature and participate in unique experiences year-round in all seasons.
Narvik is especially famous for its ski field “Narvikfjellet”, however you can also find other possibilities such as hiking, cycling and top tour mountain hiking. If you wish to spice your stay with something a little different then we have the Arctic Train which traces the route along the deep Rombaksfjord before winding its passage up through the mountain side to the Swedish Border villages.
Narvik is Norway’s candidate for the prestigious World Cup in Alpine skiing for 2027. This has engaged the whole town who are always optimistic, welcoming, and happy to help.
If you are interested in history then Narvik can offer the powerful WWII history in the area and the “Battle of Narvik”. There is also the “Rallarkultur” the story of those who built the railway towards the Swedish border for the iron ore.
Also, for those who are interested in food we are especially proud over our local Sami traditional meals expertly made by our local master chefs.
